Why did so many of the british colonies came to rely exclusively upon african slavery for their labor ?

The British relied on African American slavery because they got used to the feeling of being in power of others they thought about them selves so much they forgot how to do things on there own they believed that they would always have slavery so they relied on much more than they realized and or intended on
