Why I think the process of westernization is so well known and yet we rarely hear of the process of southernization is below.

Westernization, the taking i of the practices and culture of western Europe by societies and countries in other parts of the world by compulsion or through influence. Its widespread at first was mostly due to the process of colonialism and thereafter globalization made it more popular.

It started with traders, colonizers, and missionaries from western Europe who thought that their way of life was higher than others as they traveled and occupy places, peoples were mandated or encouraged to adopt western European business practices, languages, attires etc.

Westernization is important but not also without southernization

Southernization is simply known as a thorough process that began in Southern Asia and spread to other places in the world.

This made the Eastern Hemisphere richer than the Northern Hemisphere
