if election results are counted all day long and new stations release results through out the day why might some living on the west coast of the United States be less likely to vote for the president than someone living in the coast East think about the time zone in u. s.

I think because the time zones are completely different in the east coast (et) when it's 7 p.m. it's around 4 p.m. for the west coast (pt)
