After studying the Bill of Rights, you realize you, as a student, are far more impacted by the government than you ever knew and want to become more informed and involved. You want to be more knowledgeable about government policies by researching some legislation from your local area, the state, or the country. Your task is to write a letter to a legislator clearly stating an opinion on a selected policy, its impact to you, and any suggestions you may have to maintain or amend the policy.

It takes citizens like you to keep our communities, state, and country running smoothly.

Your letter must include:
The name of the legislator you are contacting
The policy you are writing about (chosen from the board)
Your opinion on the policy you chose
Reasons for your opinion and any suggestions you have
