America is more than ready for a president that is a woman. In terms of the wage gap and such, it's slowly dissolving into our old culture. Personally I believe that America is ready because women are finding it easier and easier to work comfortably in jobs. It's also to be noticed that women are being elected for state congresses, house of reps, senate, etc. And in the recent 2016 election, Hilary Clinton was very close to becoming who would lead our country for the next 4 years. I feel like just this enough is safe to say that America is ready for a woman president.
