The Constitution of the United States is the world's oldest written constitution that's still in existence. Explain the framers' (writers') intent for the country as described in the document's Preamble (the opening paragraph). In other words, why did they write it? How does the idea of "Separation of Powers" help to prevent any one branch of the government from having too much power?
