For the next year, Robespierre governed France virtually as a dictator, and the period of his rule became known as the Reign of Terror. Although, I don't agree with the way the Commitee of Public Safety was being operated, I do believe that they were effective, and protected against their enemies. The Commitee of Public Safety was keeping all people suspected of terrorism or who were against the French Revolution away from the country. According to The Law of Suspects, "[People] who, by their conduct, associations, talk, or writings have shown themselves to be enemies [will be suspected]." (Doc B). The Commitee of Public Safety was keeping people who seemed suspicious of treason away from France, which was its job. They were also trying to stop and prevent monopolies in France. As stated in the Decree Against Profiteers, "Those who have commodities shall be required to declare them and sell them." (Doc A) They kept the people of France safe by keeping suspects and their enemies away from the country, making their methods useful as well as effective. Although, I believe the Commitee of Public Safety was effective, I don't necessarily agree with how they opperated. As stated in the Decree Against Profiteers, "those convicted of making false declaration shall be punished with death." (Doc A) I don't agree with the idea that death is the answer to one's problems. It isn't the only solution. I feel as though they could've done something else to protect the people of France. Altogether, I do believe they were successful at protecting the people of France during the French Revolution.

traditional maasai people's lifestyle concentrates on their cattle which make up the primary source of food. amongst the maasai and several other african ethnic groups, the measure of a man's wealth is in terms of children and cattle. so the more the better.
