Explain the political system of feudalism which dominated the politics of the Middle Ages

In feudalism a ruler (senior) is giving land to his vassals (nobles) who have obligation to give him a part of the crop from the land and to participate in war campaigns when called upon. At the bottom of the hierarchy are peasants who practically have no rights, as are doing all the hard work and gaining only small portion of the profit.

After Western Roman Empire disappeared a new system was established on its soil. Land was divided among tribal leaders who started creating their own countries. They would give land for usage to people who they trusted and that is how the feudal system was created. Later, the church was involved in the feudal system as an integral and important part.
