Do you agree or disagree with this quote “in order to for the Revolution to live, the king must die” could this execution have been avoided?

I disagree with those quote because murdering a world leader would set a terrible example for the people, and could ascend the country into utter chaos. Instead of executing the king, I believe they should have kicked him off the throne, and out of power, and work together as a nation to create a new political system that aims to do the opposite of what the king did. Doing this instead of murder would prevent the country from from disrupting into chaos, and set an example for the people.
