The sidewalk system is modern when compared to the other systems, with most being build alongside paved roads. Sidewalks are important In dense metropolises and in suburban areas. In Urban environments, sidewalks help reduce congestion because more people can walk and ride bikes, keeping the roadways more clear.

The Eisenhower Highway system was thought of in 1939 and approved in 1956. The project was created and approved because the United States needed a road system that allowed for a high volume of cars to travel in a place where cars could move at high speeds. Most interstates have a speed limit of 75 miles an hour, with the lowest top speed in GA being 65 MPH, and the highest being 80 MPH. With cars moving at such high speeds, without red lights or tolls (unless up north or on the  Florida turnpike), cars can travel the United States at high speeds. Now, A car can make it to Virginia easily in a day, whereas in 1940 that travel could take 4 days. The highway system changed the way America worked, with most people opting to take a car instead of a plane for travels under 1,000 miles.

The waterways of GA are some of the best in the south-east. With the state having such nice waterways, people in the past could easily transport their crops and goods to the coast of GA, where they could be distributed to the world. a person could move goods from Juliette to Brunswick without ever leaving the water, or someone in town county could follow the Chattahoochee River to the Gulf of Mexico, taking goods from the mountains of GA to the coast in a few days.

GA's rail system is honestly pretty bad, being the worst system by far out of all of these. however, it is good for transporting cargo over a very long distance, with a train originating in Valdosta being able to deliver cargo to Anchorage, Alaska. this ability made the rail system a perfect thing in the 1800s but has since fallen to the wayside with the advent of the highway system. however the fact that you could move cargo upstream, for whatever reason you needed to do that, was a selling factor of the rail system, and the fact that they can carry much more cargo legally with a weight capacity of 25,000,000 pounds or 12,500 tons, while a semi-truck can only weigh 80,000 pounds or 40 tons, including the weight of the truck and trailer.
