Use the techniques you’ve learned in this unit to write your own suspenseful narrative. Your characters may experience suspense in a familiar place, or while they’re with people they know and trust. Perhaps the fear comes from an everyday object or situation. Regardless of which unlikely source you choose, be sure your narrative includes the following: a plot with a beginning, middle, and end
a clear setting
characters and dialogue
a feeling of suspense
a clear theme
