What caused the violence in the village? ( it's about Coronado's expedition!)

The members of the expedition were almost undernourished and demanded entrance into the village of Hawikuh  The natives refused the expedition entrance to the village. Vázquez de Coronado and his military invaded the Zunis. The result of argument constituted the extent of what can be called the Spanish "Conquest of Cíbola". During the fight, Vázquez de Coronado was injured.
