What is "taxation without representation"? When a leader, like King George III, decides to tax the citizens without having their representatives present to help make
decisions about taxes.
The government collects taxes equally from all British citizens and uses the tax money for the common good.

The idea that it is fair to tax someone without giving them a voice in government.
