do humanity’s moral standards change with time, or are there certain things that would shock people in any area?

What is acceptable and unacceptable changes all the time over many years. There may always be a shock value to people who grew up being taught something certain or still believe in old ideas. Like Amish people and Mormons for example-- Skirts are the only thing women of the communities are allowed to where and it absolutely cannot be above the mid-calf and sometimes ankle. Along with that women, arent to speak out of turn and men are expected and supposed to be the sole providers for the community and family.
