For starters, they created communities in many places. They would have their farms, houses, group areas (also for their traditions), and some may have a wherehouse/store like structure. Additionally, they wore clothes (for their time), acted civilly among each other, and everyone was raised to be a productive member of their community. This involved the males going out to hunt and gather supplies while the females cooked, took care of the children, and performed other female duties for their role in society during the time period.
