3.  Fransisco Franco's regime as a totalitarian dictator started in 1939 after the Spanish Civil war, which lasted for three years since 1936.

4.  Adolf Hitler's totalitarian dictator regime started, following the death of President Paul von Hindenburg, which made Hitler proclaimed Führer, or leader of the German Reich.
