Compare and contrast the effects of European colonization on East Africa versus Central and South Africa.

East: It introduced a dual economic structure within the African economy. It also brought about disarticulation of African economy, education, trade, market, transport and currency institution. South: Slavery and colonisation provided cheap labour which increased profits and added to the wealth of the colonisers.
