Christopher Gadsden: Christopher Gadsden was a leader from South Carolina who played a very significant role in the Patriot movement during the American Revolution. He was the one who opposed the Supremacy of the Parliament at the Stamp Act Congress in New York in the year 1765. In the very next decade, he joined the Charleston mechanics (Sons of Liberty). After joining the Sons of Liberty he led the “patriot party” against every seen violation of America's right by the British Parliament. His extremism during the First Continental Congress manifested in the proposal of Congress to reject all the parliamentary legislation passed since 1763. It was meant to attack the British fleet in American waters and to appeal all the colonies to get ready for the war.

Rebecca Brewton Motte: Rebecca Brewton Motte was a plantation owner from South Carolina. She was the one who provided the Continental Army with food and supplies for around five years. She played a very active role in the war by providing the arrows used to set fire to the roof to get the surrender of the British outpost.
