International territorial conflicts are difficult to solve due to the fact these sort of disputes often lead to war (i.e Falklands Island War, French and Indian War, etc.). Resources on lands are a hot topic for such a dispute, and history has seen its fair share. Lack of communication between proper channels, combined with the lack of reason that usually occurs tends to heighten the aggression of things. This is where wars are fought. In the end, the larger and more powerful country usually comes out of the dispute on top, but metaphorically there is no true winner in any war.
