History is a way for us to peer back in time. By doing so we can learn a lot about ourselves. We can assess our growth and potential as human beings. We can also see where we went wrong.
We need to understand human behaviors so we don't repeat the same mistakes our ancestors made.
History is not just stories. It is an account of how we as human behave under certain scenarios. When you look at any historic event at the core, you are looking at series of actions undertaken by human actors.
