How did the Punic wars affect Carthage

In the first Punic War, Carthaginian expansion into Sicily was reversed and they were forced out of Sicily. This forced them West, into Spain, where a particularly famous family, the Barcas, started conquering Spain. The Second Punic War forced them to abandon Spain and the Third ended Carthage.
