Profissionais propensos a problemas de coluna Drauzio – De acordo com sua experiência pessoal, quais profissões favorecem o aparecimento de problemas na coluna? T. Barros – Carregadores de peso, como os estivadores, por exemplo, acabam apresentando mais problemas porque expõem a coluna à sobrecarga contínua. Por paradoxal que pareça, pessoas que trabalham paradas na mesma posição sem relaxar a musculatura, como os caixas de bancos ou quem fica horas em frente do computador, também representam uma população de risco. Nesse caso, é recomendável levantar-se a cada 40 ou 50 minutos, andar um pouco e colocar um tablado para erguer alternadamente os pés e relaxar a musculatura. Motoristas de veículos pesados também se incluem no grupo de risco. Há um estudo interessante mostrando que quem dirige carros mais velhos tem mais problemas de coluna do que quem dirige carros novos e em melhores condições mecânicas.
