Rome used its strong army to a large empire

Conquer and defeat. With a strong army, it was hard to defend so Rome gained much territory. Also, after Rome’s army conquered a land, they would build roads connecting it to other parts of the empire. This is how Rome’s empire grew rapidly. Hope this helps!!
