Democratic revolutions helped create new young nations that  may become the next superpower take the American revolution. The American Revolution was a war between 13 struggling colonies against Great Britain and once the colonies won, they were recognized as the United States of America.  The US would later on go to wars such as WW1 to protect the world for democracy as President Wilson said. The US would help Latin American countries become free from there European rule and then almost become an "International Police force".
