Did the unification of Germany make a general European war inevitable?

No German unification did not make a major European war inevitable. German unification in 1871 presented the the Great Powers with the a dilemma. There was in the center of Europe, a large, economically robust nation, with a growing well educated population and three very good wars to their credit.
