Describe one of the challenges wesley Harris faces in his attempt to escape

Wesley Harris in his attempt to escape was badly beaten with guns by a constable, while his friend was shot badly in the face and beaten up until he drained out of energy.

On the day when Wesley harris tried to escape, a constable seized him by the collar. All of a sudden Wesley shot the constable with his pistol. He wounded very badly in his shoulders. Wesley again fired on the pursuers. He drew a sword and started defending himself. Some other constables rushed in and pushed him on the ground. The constables started beating him rigorously. One of his friends was shot on his face and beaten until he ran out of energy in his body. Three of his companions were sentenced to jail.
