Hunting and gathering societies: These organisms hunted other animals for food. They used to gather random things from the Earth and utilize them.

Pastoral societies: These societies used to pasture animal for food and transportation. For example, people of North Africa.

Horticultural societies : These societies depended on domesticating animals and cultivating plants for food and vegetables.
