Florida continues to attract a large number of Hispanic immigrants, specially from Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain, and Puerto Rico.

In Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina and North Carolina, the Hispanic population more than doubled, however, in all of these states, Hispanics are still less than 10% of the total population, so there are not as noticeable as in New Mexico, California, Texas, Florida or Arizona.
