The Vedic religion evolved and spread

The map shown in the figure represents the boundaries of almost the present countries of Middle East but these regions were once under the influence of Hinduism and Zoroastrian faith. Vedic religion was the religion of the ancient Indo-European-speaking peoples who entered India about 1500 BCE from the region of present-day Iran. It took its name from the collections of religious hindu texts known as the Vedas.
