What motivated the amendments to the articles of confederation?

It was motivated because the bill of rights was not working anymore so they needed to come up with the new constitution and in that one slavery was still allowed and other things were still considered illegal so then they came up with the aorta to add to the constitution

They wanted more freedom and to appeal to everyone.
