First, notice that any absolute value function has a “v” shape. Then remember that the formula for an absolute value function is f(x)=a |x-h| k . The a in the formula stands for how wide or narrow the graph will be, but since this equation doesn’t have “a” in it, don’t worry about it. The h stands for if the graph is left or right of the parent function f(x). However it’s the opposite of what is says, for example in this case, the h is -3, so therefore the graph will be 3 to the right. Finally the k stands for if the graph is up or down, since there is no k, the graph will be on the x axis. You can find the vertex by looking right at the equation. H(x)= |x - 3| the vertex is (h,k) so since we know you take the opposite of -3 and the k is 0, the vertex is (3,0) then just graph it how you would graph f(x) = |x| , except with the point (3,0) being the lowest instead of (0,0)
