answer: the great awakening was a movement that altered religious beliefs, practices and relationships in the american colonies. the first great awakening broke the monopoly of the puritan church as colonists began pursuing diverse religious affiliations and interpreting the bible for themselves.

monarchy doesn’t have to have the hereditary element. there have been elective monarchies in the past where you choose your king-for-life and when he dies elect someone else for the job.

i also think he is correct. i believe they came to washington to protest their rights.
