How are the 14th and 15th amendment alike

The 14th amendment to the constitution allowed equal civil and legal rights to African Americans and slaves. This granted citizenship to former slaves. The 15th amendment gave citizens the right to vote regardless of there race or ethnicity, but it does not memtion gender. These amendments along with the 13th amendment are known as Civil war amendments.
