The Marxist interpretation of history, is one of class struggle.

Explanation:

Marxists interpret history, as the struggle of the lower class, and it's desire for equality, and more power. From the Romans, and the Plebeians, to the Middle Ages, and the Serfs, to the modern day with the Proletariat. What do all have in common? They make up the majority, but yet are powerless, in all societies and states, besides select few, the majority of power was in the hands of an extreme, extreme minority.
