member alienates himself totally to the whole community together with all his rights. this is first because
conditions will be the same for everyone when each individual gives himself
once this multitude is united this way into a body, an offense against one of its members is an offense against
the body politic. it would be even less possible to injure the body without its members feeling it. duty and
interest thus equally require the two contracting parties to aid each other mutually. the individual people should
be motivated from their double roles as individuals and members of the body, to combine all the advantages

how did rousseau's the social contract influence early american documents such as the declaration of
independence?
a) the social contract describes government as most effective with a strong
authoritarian leader in charge.
b) the social contract actually was influenced by the declaration of
independence as it was written well after it.
c) the social contract provided an example of old regime beliefs that the
new american system was diligent in removing itself from.
d) the social contract emphasizes the role of equality among men and giving
up personal rights in exchange for government protection.

an unexpected salary cut

the hyksos invasion. the hyksos were able to attack egypt successfully because of their skills in using bronze weapons, composite bows and the use of the horse and chariot during the invasion. although the egyptians depict a barbarian-type overthrow, the truth is the seizure was likely a relatively peaceful one.

1. yes it was the new deal introduced lots of regulations to workers, such as the national labour relations act of 1935 which workers to form unions and protected the members from other laws as well as forcing businesses to listen to the unions and their workers

2.the new deal had a lot of great ideas. but when fdr created the national industrial recovery act. they set prizes and work hours for the workers. the workers made more money ($.40 rather than $.20) but because they did not work as much they would end up making less money. after a while the supreme court found this act to be un-constitutional. but sense the people weren’t   making as much money they could not afford the products. even though the new deal was taken away in 1939 because the government became to powerful, there are still remnants of it in our government. national labor relations, social security, etc… the new deal alone did not end the depression but it the u.s.a dramatically and set them on the right track to recover and become the powerhouse of a country it is today.
