How did the supreme court’s descision in scott v. sandford affect the issue of slavery in the united states

Scott decision was the Supreme Courts ruling on March 6 1857 that having lived in a free state and territory did not entitle a slave Scott to his freedom In essence the decision argued that as a slave Scott was not a citizen and could not sue in a federal court

the map that was shown mostly had eastern asia highlighted. the answer would mostly likely be "the spread of communism into eastern asia set the stage for the korean war."
