The cave game was also referred to as pre-classic. It was one of the first version of Minecraft created by Markus persson. It was later officially renamed. Cave game was an idea gotten from a game that Notch produced and the game was called Rubydung.

Cave game was made of cobblestone and grass. The prototype was made to display how cave could be generated. It was named “cave game” because the game was particularly about cave.
Markus alexej persson is also known as Notch. He created Minecraft and he’s one of the founders of Mojang AB. At the age of 7, Persson started programming by using commondo 128 owned by his father and at the age of 8, Persson created his first game.
He was able to achieve this by using type-in programs. In 2005, perssson worked as a game developer at king .com. He left king .com in 2009 and proceeded to jalbum where he worked as a programmer.
Persson moved from a full-time to a part-time worker at jalbum after Minecraft became more popular and grew in sales.
In June 2010, persson left jalbum to focus mainly on Minecraft. He also took part in different competitions including LD12, Ludum Dare and many other programming contests.
