What two ways do citizens of africa deal with the water crisis they face

1. They send typically childern to walk for hours each day to find water and transport it back to the village in jugs.

2. They dig to create wells that are deep into the ground to find fresh water underneath the land and put in a pump to get fresh water to the village.  

These are just two ways the citizens have used to survive the water crisis.
