Louis XIV of France (French: Louis XIV), called "the Sun King" (le Roi Soleil) or Louis the Great (Saint-Germain en Laye, France, September 5, 1638-Versailles, France, September 1, 1715 ), was king of France and of Navarre from the 14 of May of 1643 until its death, with 76 years of age and 72 of reign.
