How did the department of defense analysis that was leaked astor pentagon paper affect the nixon administration

Ultimately, the Pentagon Papers led to the demise of Nixon's presidency.  Nixon reacted to the leak of the Pentagon Papers by forming a group that became known as "the plumbers."  They were a "special investigations" unit that the Nixon White House had set up in 1971 to stop the leaking of classified information.  Members of this group were later involved in the Watergate break-in (among other activities).  The Watergate scandal, in turn, eventually caused Nixon to resign the presidency.

The Pentagon Papers revealed that the US government had been lying to the American public about the war in Vietnam.  Daniel Ellsberg was the military analyst who leaked "The Pentagon Papers" to the American press in 1971, revealing top secret information about US planning and decision-making in regard to the Vietnam War.  

In the Nixon administration's efforts to control their political enemies, some individuals working on behalf of Nixon and his reelection campaign were involved in a break-in in May, 1972.  They broke into into the Democratic National Committee office in the Watergate complex of buildings in Washington, DC.  They were planting wire-taps on the Democrats' phone lines, and also stole copies of documents.  When the wire-taps didn't work properly, they broke in again (in June) to try to fix the surveillance devices, but they were caught.

Nixon's role in Watergate was especially in his efforts and those of members of his staff to cover up what had happened.  Ultimately, the Watergate affair brought down the Nixon presidency.  He resigned in order to avoid impeachment.  And the whole affair made Americans more distrusting of government -- a strong distrust that had begun when the Pentagon Papers became public.

(january 15, 1929 - april 4, 1968) was growing up, although slavery had been abolished, there was still open segregation in practice, i.e., white only restrooms and coloured restrooms. one famous incident was when on december 1, 1955, rosa parks refused to give up her seat to a white man on a bus. because of this, she was arrested, but eventually freed.

8: he was a man who spoke out to the entire nation about peace and equality, so therefore doing something for your community, or nation, is a way of honoring him because he did the same. everyone learns about martin luther king jr. he is famous in history books, most especially for his “i have a dream” speech that inspired millions worldwide. he spoke to the entire nation about freedom, equality, and peace for all. he was participation in his community and doing what was right for him and all his community. participating in service projects is a great idea to honor his dream and his memory. even thought it’s not was comes first to mind when thinking about community service projects, it is an amazing way to honor an amazing man who changed the future for the better.

congress seems to have some powers the states do not have. they can do some pretty big things, they can declare war. and they can lead armies and navies. they also have the power to create a mail delivery system, make foreign treaties, print and borrow money, (both states and congress can do that)and make rules for certain places, i think they said the western states.  

the new government has been a big to growing their country! they are getting new land over west. and they are passing laws which to settle boundary issues.  

although most of this information sounds good for them, bad for us, there are some weaknesses from their plan. the people are still having issues with taxes and trading goods, they also don't have a main leader such as a chief or a president. they also have trouble with currency. the states are printing out so much money the national currency is beginning to be worthless. so things are getting hard to handle over here.  

some of the americans like the new government and think that even if they could ask about changing it they would be ignored. daniel shays got a group of people who hated the new government and decided to attack. this could become either worse or better.

i think that they may start a war or some sort of big attack to make them change their government. most americans just don't want to discuss it. but i think that daniel man will speak up for them. if they do scare them they will get a better government and be able to deal with their issues better! i think that is what is going to happen next in the u.s., sincerely
