After the civil war, inflation was a real problem for both sides. The war heavily affected the North but the South suffered more than the North. The South used to base its economy on agriculture and slavery meanwhile the North had more industry. During the war, workers or farmers joined the armies and caused a decrease in supply. That is why prices rise in a fast way. That is the way to have inflation. The South had less cash than the North and tried to finance the war issuing war bonds and treasury notes but in reality, it had nothing to support the documents. The South decided to print money but it only caused more money in circulation, so the prices rose again.

puritans we all know as were a relgion to purify the cahtlic church some of there practices were good and they did ways some relgions couldnbt but some ways wern't that good like trying to turn people into their relgion which did spark alot of mass hate to them overall there netrual and did have a semi good cause.
