OSHA, which stands for Occupational Safety and Health Administration, is an agency that has been in charge of enforcing different regulations and creating standards in order to guarantee healthy working conditions to workers since 1971. Under the OSH Act law, employers must provide a safe workplace to their employees. This law also states that workers have the right to work in a place that does not pose a risk of serious harm. Moreover, SEC, which stands for Securities and Exchange Commission, is also an agency that is in charge of enforcing security laws. SEC mainly regulates the securities industry and the nation's stock; therefore, as well as OSHA, this agency's mission is also to propose new regulations.

OSHA is the government agency that protects workers in their working environment creating and enforcing regulations to ensure the health and safety of workers. SEC is an independent agency that enforces federal securities laws, creates new regulations, and in general oversees the nation stock and options exchanges.  The two agencies have in common that they both create and enforce regulations.
