Yes. They are considered to be Asians. "Asian" doesn't have a defined look, even though everyone automatically thinks of Chinese or Japanese people. A large part of Russia is in Asia as well, which makes them Asian. Many people sort Asians into two groups of people-- those who descended from Asian ancestors and those who are simply born in a region that is located in Asia. Indian people would be considered the latter.
