There are 2 cases of corruption regarding the North Carolina expansion one involves Governor William.M and the other case involves scientist William Rollins.

•It was tied to the growth of factories.- yes it was  because of the amount of raw material they could import through the railroad.

•It resulted in thousands of miles of new railroad.- of course it did

•It saw the completion of every railroad that was started.- from the moment it was done yes it did

•It avoided bankruptcy and other financial difficulties.- it almost causes the bankruptcy of the western north Carolina railroad , it had to go through a change of ownership and when William A Smith took charge paid all of the debt the railroad had .other than that no it didn’t.

•It allowed farmers to ship their crops to distant markets. - It helped many farmers to sell their crops and grow as a company.

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)
