Under the Articles of Confederation there was no American government, so it couldn't achieve anything. The Continental Congress, though, did have several major achievements: Fighting and winning the war. Without that achievement there would never have been a United States and nothing else would matter. The major downfall of the Articles of Confederation was simply weakness. The federal government, under the Articles, was too weak to enforce their laws and therefore had no power. The Continental Congress had borrowed money to fight the Revolutionary War and could not repay their debts.

8: he was a man who spoke out to the entire nation about peace and equality, so therefore doing something for your community, or nation, is a way of honoring him because he did the same. everyone learns about martin luther king jr. he is famous in history books, most especially for his “i have a dream” speech that inspired millions worldwide. he spoke to the entire nation about freedom, equality, and peace for all. he was participation in his community and doing what was right for him and all his community. participating in service projects is a great idea to honor his dream and his memory. even thought it’s not was comes first to mind when thinking about community service projects, it is an amazing way to honor an amazing man who changed the future for the better.
