The Greeks thought that history was so important because they wanted to remember tales of heroes and to learn from their mistakes. They also thought it to be important so that they can improve from what the past had failed to do and succeed. Hope this helps

The history of Ancient Greece has been influential to western society up to our day.
The much-celebrated Renaissance was guided in large part by the re-discovery of the ancient Greek ideas through text and art. Greek art, architecture, literature, philosophy, science, and language have been firmly embedded in the western culture for the past two millenia.

History as a discipline was created in Ancient Greece with the work of Herodotus (484 – 425 BCE) who is considered the Father of History, and that of Thucydides (460 – 395 BCE). Writing in completely opposite style, these two historians attempted to record the events of their time for posterity, and in the process they created the foundation that future historians relied upon all the way up to the 20th c. CE.

health care plans in the united states having high costs because they are focusing on providing quality programs for different groups of individuals. the quality of the service is based on money flow received from the members. without this investment, couldn't be possible a constant scientific searching to prevent death and illness caused because of low levels of health investigation. currently, the complaints are not about the highest cost, but about the coverage and benefits to access the necessary health services required by the members.

besides, if a global health system is established the quality levels will fall down because of the standardized of the health. the access to care will increase but the quality will be low because it depends on the money invested.
