The Medieval Japan was influenced by China in a number of ways which include;

•Adaption of Chinese civilization in several waves such as neo-Confucian values ,learning and Zen Buddhism

•Utilization of Chinese plans in their capital cities. Japanese used these plans to construct cities such as Nara and Kyoto.

•Buddhist religion was adopted by Japanese due to the influence of early Chinese culture that made a big impact.
