Imagine that technological advances in communication and transportation that took place during the 20th century never occurred. there are no computers, no cellular phones, and no massive cargo ships. as a result, the globalization that characterized the late 20th century also never occurred! developing or underdeveloped country would be different in this scenario

If the 20th century globalization didn’t occur and there was no phones no electronic, no cargo ships in our country the developed U.S. Then economically our country would be much slower, more hard labor, and more patient.

   Firstly, If the 20th century globalization didn't happen and no one would have phone, computers, etc...then no one would have instant gratification. If someone wanted to talk to someone that is long distance then they would have to send a letter which would probably take a little while since everyone else would be sending letters as well to be able to talk to other people. Also, people would have to talk to people face to face as well not texting them on their phone and be more social. Also, communications would be way slower and harder to communicate to each other. So that would result in more patient people because it would take longer to talk to people and it wouldn’t be instant gratification like it is today with electronics.  

   Then, If there was no massive cargo ships not as much products or produce from other countries would be brought to the country. That would mean not as much produce and food then the developed country, the U.S. would have to grow and raise more produce like fruits, vegetables, and cows, and chickens. Also, people wouldn’t eat as much because of less produce. There would also be more farmers to help supply the produce for the population. Which more jobs would be hard working instead of today where most jobs are sitting job and your on an electronic like a computer all day long. Instead of an office job more people would be outside and doing more hard labor.

In conclusion, If the 20th century globalization didn’t happen more people would still be working more hard labor and there would be more farmers. If we didn’t have massive cargo ships their wouldn’t be as much food and goods. Then if there was no electronics people would have to be more patient and communications would be much slower. Overall, the developed country of the U.S. would be very different if globalization did happen and would be the country it is today.
