The distribution of wealth was uneven as most of the money  went towards the rich in america which left the rest of the people to suffer. products increased in price, and someone with an average pay could barely afford to buy things. the richest one percent had the same amount of wealth as the bottom 42 percent. the distribution of wealth was a major  weakness of the 1920's economy because it left most of the population in poverty, not having sufficient funds for basic human needs, increasing risk of disease and consequently being followed by the great depression.
