Cardiovascular disease has long been an epidemic in our country but not in some european countries, even though they have a diet high in fat, alcohol, and many of them smoke (the french being the best example).

The reason that French have low incidence of cardiovascular disease is that they have a moderate physical activity of at least 30 to 60 minutes per day and they consume healthy diet of natural food such as vegetables and beans and not on frozen and fast food meal.

In addition, drinking a glass of wine is a French habit that help them keep the bad cholesterol in a less-damaging form and the wine has an antioxidant effect, which make them healthier.
